The House of Usher is a mystical manor in the middle of a forest located in rural Massachusetts, near Boston. The forest is rickety and has a scary atmosphere, and the manor has giant windows facing the nearby lakes. The interior is inspired by Gothic architecture, and contains dark antique furniture. The house can best be described as a "rustic" abode. 
History

The house was constructed in 1709 by the Usher family, known to be deeply fascinated by the occult and magic. After four generations, all that remains of the ancient Ushers are the twins Roderick and Madeline Usher, who have kept the house as it was nearly thirty years ago, when their father mysteriously disappered.

 House of Usher contains many mysteries, some of which are not solved to
 this day. Unuseasonal tempests, bloodred moonrises, and mysterious 
noises from the basements are just some of the things you may encounter.

Family trip
The
 manor was exactly as advertised, the atmosphere was eerie and scary. It
 feels like stepping into an ancient world, which is amazing. I would 
absolutely visit again!

Stayed for free
Horrible.
 The co-host Madeline was ghostlike, and I only saw her once. Although 
Roderick was my childhood friend, the house seemed decrepid and on the 
brink of collapse. 0/10.

Things to know
House rules
Check-in
 is after 6:00 PM and checkout is before 2:00 PM. Pets are not allowed 
in the house. Please do not hold any events or parties and do not damage
 any of the furniture or paintings.
Safety & property
Families
 with children should be advised as it is easy to get lost in the woods 
and the manor. There are spots where the nearby lake could pose a 
drowning hazard and it is recommended to not swim in it. One more thing 
to note is that the structural integrity of the building is poor.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation
 is free for 72 hours after booking. After these 72 hours are up, you 
may be eligible for free cancellation if it is 3 months before your 
stay. There are no refunds after the cancellation period expires.
Guest requirements
Please
 make sure you have transport arranged for your arrival and departure. 
Prepare for inclement weather and pack raincoats and/or windbreakers.
What to bring
Make sure to bring candles or other forms of lighting as there are no lights in the manor.
